SuperQuant’s public site describes a workflow from market observation through Playbooks, testing, paper practice and review. It names backtests with costs, replay, Evidence Passports, a Diary and an Academy. The public preview uses synthetic data and explicitly does not place live orders or provide unattended trading.
The distinction that matters
Before entering the application, write one narrow question with a data window, rules, costs and failure condition. Read the backtesting and paper-trading lessons. The authenticated workspace was not tested for this library, so use the current official interface and verify which data sources and features are actually enabled.
A practical example
A fictional learner asks whether a simple rule behaves differently from a benchmark after stated costs. They preserve the input assumptions and note that the initial data is synthetic. The exercise trains a review process rather than establishing that the rule will make money.
Try this without moving money
- Write a testable question and its invalidation condition.
- Record whether the data is synthetic, imported or read-only market data.
- Keep costs, coverage and limitations attached to the result before drawing a conclusion.
A mistake to avoid
Do not interpret a paper portfolio or attractive preview curve as live balances, a trade recommendation or evidence of future returns.
